Makaton 2

I have been so impressed by everyone's progress with the Makaton signing we have been doing for "Baa, Baa Black Sheep" and "5 Little Ducks".  It really isn't that hard considering all of the other hand movements we do for other songs naturally eg.  Twinkle Twinkle and Itsy Bitsy Spider.

I would like to move on to Old McDonald so that we can get a hold of some animal signs.  I have some great handouts that I will have available, but I will also have them here.

Makaton

The past two weeks we have been working on Baa Baa Black Sheep in the Makaton Sign Language.  I am linking a site so that you can reference the pages that I have been giving out in class.  This site has a few of the rhymes that we have been doing in class.  Scopevic.org.au

Just a reminder that we may have the session outside tomorrow if we can find the long extension chord and there is some shade. we will have the music mat and the chairs. There is no grass, just incase you are worried about that.

During our Library sessions I don't have much time, or the voice, to teach you about the benefits of the activities we do and why we do them over and over.
